The practice I have developed uses a combination of massage and vibrational sound therapy to bring people into a state of deep relaxation.
Vibrational Sound Therapy
Vibrational sound therapy uses Himalayan singing bowls of varying sizes. One or more bowls are placed on the body and gently rung like a bell. Because the bowl is in contact with your body, the vibrations produced can be both heard and felt. The sound helps calm noisy thoughts and soothes the mind into a deep meditative state. The physical vibrations relax the muscles and release tension stored in out bodies.
Most of us live busy lives, filled with sensory overload and stress of all kinds. When we allow that stress to build up, it can cause or worsen many health conditions, ranging from heart disease and gastrointestinal problems, to depression, anxiety, and headaches (just to name a few). And, of course, stress also makes us irritable and mentally exhausted.
Vibrational sound therapy activates your body’s own natural mechanisms to dissipate stress and allow healing to begin. This can include:
Quieting the mind
Reducing muscle tension
Gently soothing chronic pains
Balancing moods
Reducing fatigue
Improving focus and concentration
Massage
In my experience there is a lot of confusion surrounding massage and the many different types of massage that are out there. While there are many names, the benefits are largely the same. Here are a few:
Reduced muscle tension and pain
Decreased anxiety
Improved circulation
Lymphatic system stimulation
Immune system stimulation
Reduced stress related insomnia
Peaceful Synergy
As you can see, both vibrational sound therapy and massage therapy share many of the same benefits. That similarity is why they work beautifully together to help you truly relax and find peace in your body, mind, and spirit. My practice offers both modalities to help you return to everyday life feeling refreshed and restored.
